The steeply sloping valley in the centre is a near perfect match for a view I took of the Wollondilly River, near Wombeyan Caves.
For a Tasmanian (and seemingly an ex-pat Brit) your knowledge of this area is very good indeed.
Cheers
DenisDenis Wilsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10031115992910569116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19288377.post-69829492196324580392008-09-01T10:43:00.000+10:002008-09-01T10:43:00.000+10:00That Dendrobium is interesting growing in the trac...That Dendrobium is interesting growing in the tracks like that.

Great scenery other than the huge scar of the mine. Not sure if your WA species are the same as the one which is the "inland" species in NSW. The big males are the same colour as the red inland dirt. Wonderful creatures.
These ones are grey, as you can see. But apparently the males are rated as our largest marsupials. One seldom sees the really big ones out in the fields.
I only added in that photo at the last moment for their cuteness as a family group. Glad you found it to b.e of educational value, as well.

Cheers
DenisDenis Wilsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10031115992910569116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19288377.post-88870373571634537782008-09-01T01:22:00.000+10:002008-09-01T01:22:00.000+10:00How ignorant of me.
