Today we gathered to hear a talk by Kevin Evans, CEO of National Parks Association of NSW, about the current status of the legislation to permit hunting in National Parks.
This was despite the repeated statements by Barry O'Farrell that he would not allow hunting in National Parks. But the Government "did a deal" with the Shooters and Fishers Party to gain their support for the passage of legislation to sell the Electricity Generator facilities.

Martin sent me these comments.
"It is very pleasing to see the campaign against this insanity being run in the Sydney Morning Herald.
Unfortunately the current ICAC proceedings will probably ensure that however bad O'Farrell is, he will get returned as Premier next time (and the Shooters Party and Fred Nile will continue to get into the Upper House)."
Thanks Martin.
Many of us still find it difficult coming to terms with bald-faced lies from Politicians who seemed decent.
"No hunting in National Parks">
"No deals with the Shooters and Fishers Party">
Both broken without any apparent embarrassment.
Even his own new Members (we used call them "Oncers" back in John Howards day) are embarrassed.
