Well, one side-benefit of rainy days is that one sometimes finds cobwebs like this one, bejewelled with sparkling diamond-like rain drops.

We got 44 mm yesterday so either there were two systems working over Aus. or else the one was very wide-spread.

yes, one of the many simple pleasures of drizzling rain - sparkling webs ! I love them. Fungi have also been one of the fabulous advantages of the recent rain, even in my own town yard.
It's very appropriate every now and then to draw attention of the 'little' things in nature that so many take for granted. Lovely photo, thank you.

It has been amazing lately - it has rained every day! I accidentally squashed a snail tonight - I stopped seeing them during the long dry. The drops look like a necklace.
